I’m back after the silence of September. It was a fun, but slightly crazy month!
It started with a short trip to Montreal to visit friends. It involved good food, lots of creative inspiration from the streets and shops, and most importantly, excellent conversation!
Then came a week-long expedition from Ottawa to Calgary. That’s right, 45 driving hours, 3500 km, and an average of 4 Tim Hortons visits per day. After living in New Zealand, I honestly forgot how vast Canada is! Driving across Ontario alone is like driving NZ tip to tail.
We moved into our new place two days after I got back. Still in the process of unpacking and sorting things we stored for a few years.
40 pounds of tomatoes in the farmers market also decided to speak to me last week. They said, “Teresa….buy us and can us! We would like to be salsa and tomato sauce in pretty little Mason jars, please!” And one really ought to heed the voice of calling tomatoes.
Amidst all that, a lot of portraits and photographs were taken, which I am looking forward to sharing with you!
To start, here are a few summery ones of some family friends we visited in Ontario – enjoy!
